One connected examination lifecycle
Testify organises the work students, teachers and administrators need to do before, during and after an examination.
Set up classes, subjects, users and a draft examination with objective or theory questions.
Teachers prepare the paper; an authorised administrator controls publication.
Students receive a focused, timed examination experience with autosave and recovery of saved work after a refresh.
Authorised staff see live progress, connectivity and reviewable examination activity.
Objective answers are scored automatically while teachers retain control of theory marks.
Administrators review readiness and decide when appropriate results become visible.
Built around real school roles
Administrators manage structure, access, publishing and release. Teachers prepare questions and make the final theory-marking decisions. Students receive a focused timed examination experience. Automation supports the process without replacing authorised school judgement.
Question preparation
Create supported question types on screen, or preview and import a structured Microsoft Word question paper.
Student continuity
Server-saved answers return after a refresh, while the browser retries recent unsent work.
Exam-day control
Follow candidate status and progress, record evidence and use approved administrator interventions.
Human judgement
In Testify Extended, assisted suggestions support marking without replacing the teacher’s final theory score.
Result governance
Incomplete marking, score concerns or integrity evidence can be held for human review.
School deployment
Students and staff connect to a school-managed server. The database is not exposed directly to the public internet.
School branding
Schools can configure Testify’s application colours and visual theme to reflect their identity.

Control where it matters
Objective questions can be scored automatically. Theory answers move to teachers for final marks. Integrity indicators remain evidence for authorised staff to review—not automatic proof of malpractice.
Security and examination governance
Layered controls govern who can start, how examination time is enforced, what authorised staff can see and what happens when an attempt needs review.
Randomised papers
Schools can randomise question order and multiple-choice options, so nearby students do not necessarily see the same sequence.
Controlled access
Testify checks the student’s class, the examination schedule and publication status before an attempt can begin. An examination already in progress is resumed instead of duplicated.
Reliable timing
The official deadline does not depend on the student’s device clock, so changing the computer time cannot provide extra examination time.
Live oversight
Authorised staff can follow active attempts, candidate progress, remaining time and connection status while the examination is running.
Activity evidence
Testify can record events such as leaving the exam tab, exiting fullscreen or attempting to copy and paste, with context for authorised staff to review.
Protected answers
Saved responses can recover after a refresh or brief interruption. Correct answers are not shown in the student examination view, and marking takes place after submission.
A result linked to concerning activity can be held for authorised review before it becomes visible to the student. Activity records are evidence, not automatic proof of malpractice; human invigilation and school policy remain essential.
